How to Give

Thank you for considering a gift to the Stephen Phillips Memorial Scholarship Fund. We are directing all donations to a dedicated fund at the Essex County Community Foundation (ECCF), which provides our supporters a wide range of giving options. We are deeply grateful to be working with ECCF and proud to partner with an organization driving systemic change in our own community of Essex County. Together, we are ensuring that donor generosity continues to expand opportunities for motivated students with financial need to pursue higher education.

Gifts can be made to the Phillips Scholarship Fund at ECCF through our dedicated page on ECCF’s website.

Matching Gifts

Many companies offer matching gift programs that will match each dollar of your donation to Stephen Phillips. Matching gift programs are a great way to maximize your personal contribution! Please check with your company’s HR department to see if this is an option.

If you are considering giving a legacy gift or a non-cash gift, please contact our Executive Director, Barbara Welles Iler bwiler@spscholars.org. The Phillips Fund at ECCF can accept tax-advantaged gifts like appreciated securities and Qualified Charitable Distributions from an IRA.
