How to Calculate Your Cost of College
View our Cost of College List to see if your college’s costs are listed. If your college is not on our list but you have the 2024-2025 costs from the internet or your award letter, use that information.*
For students living on campus or in off campus housing (not with a parent), add the Tuition & Fees figure to the Housing & Food figure.
If you are commuting from home, add the Tuition & Fees figure to $4500, which is the allowance for commuter expenses.
* When determining fees, use only fees for student activities, health services (not insurance), and technology expense.
