*2023 Service Spotlight* Outside of rigorous classes and flight training, Jonathan works with his school’s food recovery program that donates food to a local ministry throughout the week. He also supports the school’s food pantry by making bags of groceries for college students who are struggling to afford meals. Jonathan is committed to alleviating food insecurity in his home community in Massachusetts, too. When he is at home in the summers, he volunteers for the YMCA’s grocery program for low-income residents and has been awarded the Presidential Service Award for his longstanding service. He also collects food and toys around the holidays for families in need, in partnership with the local police department.
